We are a group of artist who get together once a week to explore art with each other. Over the past 4 months we have worked with watercolor, oil, graphite, scratch board, oil pastels, and charcoal. We have begun to doodle in sketch books on paper and some have even painted on small wooden pieces. So we are off to a wonderful start!
Our purpose is becoming more clear each time we get together. We laugh, cry, pray for each other and our friends, welcome tenderness and strength within and without because we know art is within everyone. It may not be painting, it could be a smile, but everyone carries within them a gift waiting to be explored.
This is the beginning of our blog and we welcome you to read and enjoy it. Watch for paintings and exhibitions of these right here. Each of the members will be asked to give a personal account of what they were feeling when painting. Some of the pieces completed already have been moving and creativity is just beginning to rear its head so we are excited to share with you what we are learning.
