September 12th Artist Paintings

Our class is held at the UMCTrenton Church for all types of crafters.  If you crochet, knit, have paint projects, you are welcome.  These are the paintings finished on September 12th.

MaryL worked on this project learning about light, direction and gradation.  It is a lovely piece, she plans to do another similar with different colors, can't wait to see that creation.

This is a piece by Claudia...it looks like a fall forest just about to explode with color, wind and wonderment.

A watercolor by MaryL in class, she started and finished, and this is breathtaking....a sunflower about to explode its seeds and create other sunflowers....a picture of joy.

An acrylic on wood by Sharon Rouse.....the colors are outstanding, and the birds are just about to burst into song....a beautiful for the porch or outside.  Good job. Sharon

Betty Jo working on wood with acrylic.....she is working on a personal piece for  a group she belong to.  The hearts will have words on them, will see it finished next time.

Sharon contemplating what to do next.......an artist about to create.

MaryL working on the sunflower which was discussed above.  She is enjoying herself on this piece

Betsy working on a watercolor landscape....an amazing process to watch ---artist create, learn and share their art helping the world around us be appreciated.

Claudia sharing a smile...living art!

This is cork, and Claudia was playing around with colors and design.....this is how we learn, experience and grow as artists.  Love it!

A sunflower that is much like Claudia's smile above...it is peeking off the page, and the design makes it very interesting to look at and ponder about.

Glass painting completed by Betsy.  This is a beautiful piece that warms both the hearts of people and animals....a parent loving its child by watching and teaching it --all in one beautifully illustrated glass painting.  Congratulations Betsy......absolutely stunning.

This is it for this time hope you will stop by often to read and see what the artists are doing.  k
